• Speaking at the end of the 1969 -Look in on Yeates" (CM October 1 7, Britain's largest exhibition of p,s.v., Mr. Charles Yeates, chairman and managing director of the Yeates Group of companies said: "Orders taken at this Exhibition have put the company's forward order book for buses and coaches at over the Elm mark for the first time in the company's history. Most of the coaches sold at the Exhibition will be delivered between now and spring, 1970."

Mr. Yeates also reported that the number of cars sold by the Group would make 1969 a record year. Last year, W. S. Yeates supplied 850 new and used coaches, The Group turnover has risen from £800,000 in 1962 to the 1968 figure of £2,820,000.
