• Monday-Friday RTITB approved residential courses for bus inspectors have been arranged by the Poole Technical College. North Road. Poole, Dorset. the first commencing November 3; 1970 dates are February 9 and May 11.
Open to inspectors from any PTA, municipality or NBC company in the British Isles, the course costs for tuition and lunches, £15 10s; bed, breakfast and dinner accommodation, at £3 per day, is at the Haven Hotel, Sandbanks. Reservations should be made through the College's head of the Department of Engineering, Mr. C. Kendall.
• Sunderland Corporation has approved a wage increase of Is 9d a shift for busmen operating the new zonal fare system. The proposal. which has to be sanctioned by the Prices and Incomes Board, will cost about C15.000 per annum.
