• Progress by the Northern Ireland RTITB was revealed in a report on the Board's work to date. given during the course of a seminar on "Decimalization" at Newcastle. Co. Down.
Nearly 500 management training places have been taken up by the industry on Board courses; 120 apprentices received "off-the-job" training; 232 craftsmen attended special courses; and 100 office personnel attended courses on various aspects of clerical work.
Since the Training Centre at Nutt's Corner was opened last June. 70 drivers have received instruction. Plans for 1970 include facilities for stores and forecourt training.
