truck fitted with a CityFilter which cuts soot particles, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide emissions by up to 80%, will soon complete a tour of Britain.
It is the forerunner of a new generation of environmentally friendly vehicles being developed by Volvo.
The CityFilter costs about 23,000 and can run for up to 600km before it has to be regenerated via a domestic 13amp power supply.
