the Ministry of Defence with nearly 1,700 diesel-engined vehicles. The order, worth 222m is the biggest the company has won from the MoD in five years.
The deal involves 500 Land Rover 90 and 1,190 110 models. All will be delivered to the Army by mid-February 1991, many equipped to operate in Arctic conditions. The order brings total MoD business to more than 246m in the past year.
