Since the Derby-based firm was launched last August it has been consolidating its 250m/ six-year contract with Littlewoods Home Shopping Division, but now it plans to seek custom from manufacturers and retailers in the furnishing industry.
Systemcare expects its 100strong fleet to almost double over the next two years; it will expand many of its 18 outbases and plans to establish a site north of its Glasgow base.
Director and general manager John Martin-Law says the company has no immediate plans to expand into Europe, but it might handle warehousing and distribution for European furniture manufacturers.
