• Enasa, the Spanish stateowned truck group which owns Seddon Atkinson, has increased its issued share capital in Seddon by 23 million, it is being used to improve the supply of components used in the new 2-11 16-tonner, demand for which is running ahead of expectations.
According to Seddon managing director Gerry Woodhead, deliveries of 16-tonners will rise from 500 last year to 800 this year, and a 10% market share is planned for next year.
