Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of up to 1.25m in diameter is possible with Enerpac's hydraulic tyre bead breaker. The BTB-2 breaker comprises a 10-tonne capacity cylinder fitted with a breaker hook and adjustable alignment bolt, powered through a flexible hose by a P-39 hand pump rated at 700Bar. Total weight of the set is 10kg.

Where tyre changing is frequent and other sources of power are available, the device can be activated by compressed air, petrol engine or

electric-motor-drive hydraulic pumps.

Operation is simple. The tyFe is first deflated, the bead breaker hook is positioned in the prying slots of the bead seat band and tightened against the rim with the alignment bolt. As pressure is applied the hook pressed the side flange downwards, breaking the bead loose. The operation is repeated at intervals around the bead until it is fully separated, allowing the tyre to be removed.
