During an IVECO symposium at the Dublin Spring Show on the introduction of the Magirus-Deutz range of commercial vehicles to the Republic of Ireland, a case was made for the introduction of driving on the right.
Mr Frank Fahey, chairman of Frank Fahey Commercials Ltd, said that "Britain and Ireland are the only remaining countries in the EEC with righthand drive vehicles and, given our close trading links, it is on the cards that driving on the right must be introduced here".
