AN AGREEMENT for the design, development, manufacture and selling of medium capacity diesel engines has been signed by Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Saviem.
The range of engines will be intended for light commercial vehicles and will consist of three, four and six cylinder units with power outputs from 29.84 kW to 74.6 kW (40 to 100 bhp). The engines will be manufactured in a plant in Italy, which will be operational at the end of 1976.
