Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DEVICE for damping out axle hop on four-spring balance-beam suspensions has been developed by Primrose Third Axle Co Ltd, Ewood, Blackburn, Lancs.

Called the No-Hopp the device consists of a hollow rubber buffer placed above the tail of the springs of the bogie's leading axle. Primrose claims that it does not interfere with normal bogie articulation or defection, but it opposes any violent spring movement.

A kit costs £33.23 plus delivery, or £30,11 plus a fitting charge of £9.60 if installed by Primrose.
