in built' up areas, snow clearance and methods of expediting road repairs are among items which members of the Highways and Traffic Committee of T.R.T.A. will consider at its meeting on June 5.
The agenda also provides for a discussion on the need for obtaining some degree of uniformity in the conditions by which commercial vehicles use tunnels such as Dartford and Merseyside and others which are projected.
The matter of road repairs is linked with the view that where necessary shift working could be operated to complete a job. Suggestions have been made that if the extra costs could be met there were many instances where road building and repairing contractors would be willing to put in more than one shift a day.
