Commons last week when seven Private Member's Bills, including Mr. Edward Short's measure to widen travel concessions on public-service vehicles, had their progress halted by cries of "Object ".

All the Bills which failed to get approval will come up before the Commons again on June 21, after the Whitsun recess.

Mr. Short's Bill will not be given Government time to allow it to become law, said the leader of the Commons. Mr. lain Macleod this week.
