Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Fuel injection equipment (FIE) components have to be made to very close dimensional limits and of the right material if long-term operational efficiency is to be achieved, writes a Workshop correspondent. Source Option Ltd (SOL) is a new company in the UK market, set up to offer fuel pumps, injectors and other high-quality fie components to operators and repairers.

Unlike many small firms in this field, SOL has a considerable degree of engineering expertise and the facilities to ensure quality. SOL is a sister company to D C Woodhead and Partners, which has many years of fie experience.

SOL's product range includes 1,500 stock lines and genuine parts for Nippon Denso, Bosch, American Bosch and Altecna. It claims that it will be able to provide a high degree of cover for CAV and Bryce among other fie manufacturers.

According to chief executive Mike Woodhead the new company's advantage will be in high stock levels and technical backup and information service.

SOL starts operations this April and the company's initial aim is to build up the highest fie stock levels in the North. Initially all operations are concentrated at SOL's PO Box 20, Carlisle Drive, Pudsey (tel 0532 393443) headquarters. From here a nationwide nextday service is offered using Datapost and carriers.
