Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

This country's largest vehicle manufacturer informs vehicle operators that spurious spare parts should be spurned and only Leyparts will do the job efficiently and correctly.

Uniparts are supplied by Leyland to their distributors and agents for Ford, Chrysler, Vauxhall, etc. vehicles.

We presume these are classed as "genuine" spurious spare parts totally different to spurious spare parts made by companies like ourselves who have, for a long period of time, been blessed by operators intent on keeping their fleets mobile.

Can anyone enlighten us on this contradiction between Leyparts and Uniparts?

A. MORTIMER, General Manager, Guaranteed Vehicles Spares Ltd, Leeds.
