AHIGH-SPEED M6 Flowmeter for accurate recording of fuel oils, gas oils, lubricating oils and water has been added to the range of equipment of the Macnaught Co. One of the design features is the oval-shape gears which the maker claims will give readings accurate to within plus or minus 0.5 per cent on fuel oil when operating against 5 ft. head gravity and an output of 15 gal. per mm. It also operates against an 18 in. head with up to 8 gal. per min. output. This compact unit is about half the size of its nearest rival.
