MONDAY, April 10, has been chosen as the date on which the road-rail terminals of Tartan Arrow Service Ltd. in London and Glasgow will become operational. The terminals, at Kentish Town and at Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow, were built in about a year by Essex Builders, Ltd. and cost about 000,000.
These are the terminals through which the State-owned Tartan Arrow will run its own liner trains carrying parcels and containerized goods between England and Scotland in a highly mechanized set-up (described in CM on December 16, 1966).
