Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Birmingham Orders 110 New Buses.

We recently intimated that Birmingham Corporation was in the market for 110 new passenger-carrying vehicles, and we now learn that the tramways and omnibus committee has placed an order with Morris Commercial Cars, Ltd., for 50 bus chassis, and with the Daimler Co., Ltd., for 10 bus chassis.

A provisional order has been placed for 50 six-wheeled trolley-bus chassis (the electrical equipment to be supplied by the General Electric Co., Ltd.), its confirmation being dependent on the Government's forthcoming intentions with regard to the taxation of this type of vehicle.

Whilst as little obstruction as possible should be placed in the way of trade and commerce, it feels, at the same time, that abnormal weights on the highways for a particular journey, having regard to the speed of the vehicle and the load per wheel, should be permitted only on special payment being made.

Gas Compressing Plant for Stoke.

The gas committee of Stoke-on-Trent Corporation has discussed the proposed experimental plant for compressed gas fuel and has received the suggestions of the engineer in connection with the matter.
