Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A Ppivate Estate Within Easy Reach of London and • the Home Counties lir ANY patrons of the motor coach 1V.Lhave felt the need for a pleasure resort within easy reach of London, the features required being those of a country club with all its amenities.

Mr. A. E. Cartlidge, a director of The Crimson Rambler Coaching Service, Ltd., of Brooklands, Weidegrave Road, Teddington., Middlesex, is now providing a special pleasure resort to meet this need. The estate is known as California-in-England, and it is situated at Nine Mile Ride, near Woking, ham, Berks. It incorporates Longmoor Lake, Finchampstead. The facilities offered are bathing, boating and an amusement park, whilst refreshment services are available in picturesque surroundings; there is free parking for motor coaches within the private estate.

Access to the estate is gained by good main roads, whilst the roads in the estate Lire built to withstand heavy

traffic. Special attention has been devoted to meet the needs of children, as a corner of the lake is set apart for them, complete, with special boats. Seats are arranged around the lake and the, woods provide shelter in hot weather. As the estate is private property there are no parking or other regulations to prove troublesome.

Last year The Crimson Rambler Coaching Service ran afternoon trips to Californiain-England ; although at that time there were no catering arrangements available, the undertaking proved to be the most successful afternoon trip ever run by the concern.

As Wokingham is only 32 miles from the Metropolis, the journey by road occupies little over an hour, as a rule ; the the route being one through pleasant country, the trip forms an added attraction.
