• Continental work is expanding, says the annual report of Coast Lines Ltd, while throughout the group's road transport sector the policy of giving high priority to customer service has proved successful and is encouraging the company to invest more in modern and sophisticated plant.
Recording the sale of its interests in David MacBrayne and Tayforth, the report also states that Coast Lines in 1969 bought out the remaining minority shareholding in Ulster Ferry Transport Ltd, which has since been merged with Link Line to form Ulster Ferry Link Line Ltd.
Details of the Group's increased
profits—about up—were reported in CM July 17.
