• An industrial relations committee has been set up by the Freight Transport Association.
The committee's main function will be to promote the interests of FTA members in the fields of wages, conditions of empl oy ment, productivity schemes and related matters, with particular regard to drivers. In particular it will:— D Nominate the Association's representatives on the Road Haulage Wages Council.
▪ Formulate the policy to be pursued by those representatives, and by the Asso'ciation generally, in the wageS field. ID Introduce advisory services for members in relation to wages and productivity
schemes.
The committee members are:
