ACOMMERCIAL traveller's vehicle of somewhat unusual design has just been completed by J. Harlin and Sons, Ltd., C-oachbuilders, of 191, Cambridge Road, London, E.2. The wants of the commercial traveller, so far as his means of transport are concerned, are many and varied, depending upon the class or classes of goods in which he specializes. The goods may be • light, small and delicate, light but bulky, heavy but occupying small space, or heavy and of large size. ?or this reason it is extremely difficult to lay down any hard and fast rule as to the requirements of the average traveller.

In the particular instance with which we are dealing at the moment, the travelling salesman wishes to carry both light and heavy goods separated from, each other and capable of being sorted. and.extvacted without causing unnecessary disturbance amongst those not required. The articles consist of. hosiery, Woollc,ns, silks, costumes, etc., and the van was built to the order of A. and D. Rosy, of Dunfermline, the chas-sia being a Dodge Brothers Commercial model.

The body is unusual in several respects, in that, it has four doors at each side, al:art from those to the driver's seat. No doors are provided at the rear, but all the doors at the sides opeá outwards in pairs so that the goods are extremely accessible.
