• Proceedings pending following a lost wheel incident in Hampshire have led to the further adjournment of a disciplinary inquiry into Cardiff Transport's licence.
The company, which did not appear at a Cardiff public inquiry before South Wales Licensing Authority John Mervyn Pugh, is also seeking the renewal of its national licence for 33 vehicles and 180 trailers, based at Newport.
Mervyn Pugh indicated that although he was still awaiting the outcome of the Hampshire case, the wheel loss incident was not the fault of Cardiff Transport.
