The system is designed to achieve greater employee productivity and increased profits through better control of labour and job scheduling. Workshop managers can instantly obtain upto-date information on work in hand.
Service work can be prebooked and job sheets produced automatically. Work in progress is monitored and jobs that have passed their scheduled completion time are highlighted for remedial action. Warranty claims can be processed by direct computer links with manufacturers. The full service history of a vehicle can be displayed on a screen.
