AFTER revoking all 18 r licences held by Stoke-on-Tr operator W. Stonier & Sons I (CM, September 27, 1980) 1 new licences have been gran to the company by the W Midlands Traffic Comm sioners.
Evidence was given by veh examiners under revocation 1 the vehicles were now in gi order, though the company I not as yet moved from Goldenhill premises, the sub of serious criticism in S tember.
But managing director Jar Berresford said the n premises in Tunstall were most complete, and the cc pany had to move out of Gold hill by March 31 in any even1 the meantime major main1 ance work would be carried at the premises of Berresfo Motors at Cheddleton.
Granting the psv licenc Chairman Arthur Crabtree, the grant was subject to the dertaking that the compE would be in the Tunst premises by April 1.
