DIFFICULTY is being experienced in securing vehicles and loads when transported by Sealink roll/on-roll/off services. The following points should be observed, British Rail has told operators: all covered units should be loaded with contents secured to avoid movement inside the unit; open units should have loads secured to the carrying
vehicle to prevent ment; and, it would hel chassis of ro-ro units trailers and rigid ve was fitted with lugs al metre intervals so vehicles can be secure chains on the vessels.
