Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the carriage of goods.. wooden skips. Is there any regulation which states that the goods must not be stacked higher than the bottom edge of the side windows?

ACertainly there is no specific regulation

which prevents goods being stacked above the window level of a dual-purpose vehicle. Precautions should, however, be taken to prevent skips or cartons failing forward over any half height bulk-head.

Failure to fake adequate loading precautions may result in contravention of the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1966 (No. 1288). so far as they relate to dangerous and insecure loads which may cause danger to persons in the vehicle or on the road.

The C and U Regulations 1966, regulation 17, provides that every passenger vehicle adapted to carry more than seven passengers exclusive of the driver, and every goods veh icle, including every dual-purpose vehicle, but excluding locomotives and motor tractors shall be equipped with at least two mirrors, one of which shall be fitted externally on the offside of the vehicle and the other either internally or on the nearside externally.
