• For the first time the Swansea-based South Wales Transport Co. Ltd. and United Welsh Services Ltd.—both now members of the NBC —have combined in the production of a joint holiday brochure. South Wales is a former BET company and United Welsh a THC-owned "Tilling" company.
The companies, score another -first" by including a joint arrangement for eight-day tours to the Isle of Wight. Each will run three tours.
Another joint operation of interest is one between SWT on its Paris tour and Greenslades Tours Ltd., Exeter (also an NBC undertaking) on its Black Forest tour. Under this operation, SWT passengers wishing to travel to the Black Forest and Greenslades' passengers for Paris will change coaches at Cherbourg.
The Municipal passenger Transport Association announces that its .1969 annual conference will be held in Edinburgh from Tuesday September 30 to Friday October 3.
