Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The national council of the 2,300-strong Industrial Transport Association agreed at its meeting on Saturday to consider formation of a 14th division to cover Hants and Sussex.

During 1968 the strength of the Associa tion in these counties has increased considerably and the members have been attached to the London division. It is now suggested that the numbers merit more local fa cil ities.

The council has expressed concern at the lack of support for transport vehicle classes and it is understood that this concern is common to the other professional transport bodies. The opinion was expressed by the Association that day-release courses for management students were now essential. Pursuing its policy of expanding its educational influence the Association is to apply for membership of the Scottish Council for Commercial Administrative and Professional Education. The 'Institute of Transport is already represented on that body.
