SEDDON ORDERS APPROACH £1 MILLION : Seddon Diesel Vehicles Ltd. has received orders amounting to £487,000 in the first two weeks of 1964. REFUSE VEHICLES FOR CARDIFF: Thirty-six continuous loading refuse collection vehicles of 20-cu.-yd. capacity are to be purchased by Cardiff Corporation from Shelvoke and Drewry Ltd. and two of 35-cu.-yd. capacity from Moorwell Motors Ltd. A.E.G. ARTICS FOR DENMARK: A.E.C.Ltd. has received orders from its distributors in Copenhagen, Denmark, for 14 Monarch tractive units to be operated in conjunction with tanker semi-trailers On petroleum haulage duties throughout Denmark. The tractive units will be shipped complete, apart from driver's cabs, which will be fitted locally by the distributors, British Motors A/S. Dansk Esso AiS will operate four of _ the vehicles and 13.P. Olie-Kompagniet A"/S the remaining 10.

LEY L.4ND GROUP VEHICLES -FOR B,R,S.: British Road Services has ordered a toted of 89 Leyland group vehieles, _including 37 Leyland _Beaver and 12 Leyland Badger tractive .units, which will be fitted 'with compressOr-exhattsters-fo allow them to operate with vacuum-braked as well as airbraked semi-trailers. Each of these chassis will have an audible and visual low airpressure warning device, and will -be Mnipped with fifth-wheel couplings. .. The remaining vehicles comprise -36 Albion Chieftain Super Six. tractive units with Scotsmen automatic coupling gear, and four Leyland Octopus rigid vehicles. ATLANTEAN REPEATS: Leyland Motors Ltd. has received repeat orders for Atlantean ',OS chassis from Manchester Corporation and Salford Corporation for 72 and 21 models, respectively.

YORK 7 RAILERS IN SCOTLAND: The York Trailer (o. Lid, has received orders from Scotland for a total of 115 semi-trallers. The largest is from McKelvie and Co. Ltd., a member of the Transport Development Group, for 60 York well-deck steel coil carriers and 40 Teamster 40-ft. EP23 platform models. Sutherlands of Peterhead has Ordered five single-axle York Teamsters and Millburn Motors Ltd. 10 of the W2' 12-ton Platform models.

MORE RE1.1ANCES FOR PORTUGAL: Another 12 A.E.C. Reliance .hus and coach chassis have been ordered through Uniao de Transportadores para Importacao e Cornercio Limitada. Cabo Ruivo, Lisbon, who will assemble the chassis and fit bus or coach bodies, The A11.470 138 b.h.p. engine will be fitted to tO of the chassis, the remaining two being supplied with the larger A14.590 engine of 1_53 b.h.p,
