MR. R. A. DYSON, formerly deputy chairman of the British Wagon Co., Ltd., has become chairman in succession to MR. W. H. COPLEY, who remains on the board.
MR. E. F. KIRBY, who has been on the staff of Smiths Motor Accessories, Ltd., London, for 20 years, has been appointed service manager at their Cricklewood service department.

MR. H. E. PUGH, spares divisional manager for the Standard Motor Co., Ltd., is visiting a subsidiary company in Durban with the object of improving the supply and distribution of spare parts in South Africa.
MR. STANLEY MILLER has joined the board of the Mercantile Credit Co., Ltd. He succeeds MR. W. J. WEST as local director for London and the Home Counties. Mr. West, a member of the board, has assumed general managerial responsibilities.
MR. R. C. Mira, chief engineer of the Trent Motor Traction Co., Ltd., will retire on March 31 after 27 years' service. He will be succeeded by MR. P. H. WrIca SMITH, at present chief engineer of East Midland Motor Services, Ltd. Mr. Wyke Smith is chairman of the East Midlands section -of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers.
MR. R. E. Durititta., who has been chief engineer of the Lincolnshire Road Car Co., Ltd., since 1943, will retire on March 31. Since he began his career in 1927, Mr. Dunhill has been chief engineer of East Midland Motor Services, Ltd., and Southdown Motor Services, Ltd. He has also been area engineer of the Eastern National Omnibus Co., Ltd.
MR. S. R. MILLER, chairman of Fletcher Miller, Ltd., has been appointed to the board of C. C. Wakefield and Co., Ltd., following Wakefield's acquisition of the Fletcher Miller group. Two Fletcher Miller directors, MR. A. GEORGE and MR. R. T. MILLER, have been made directors of Wakefield-Dick Industrial Oils, Ltd. New Fletchei Miller directors are MR. J. C. CRAGG (Wakefield's Stanlow Works manager), MR. J. W. MACMAHON (general manager of the Industrial Lubricants Division of Wakefield-Dick Industrial Oils, Ltd.) and MR. L. J. WINDRIDGE (secretary of WakefieldDick Industrial Oils, Ltd.).
