• With 29 member companies employing 544 personnel and operating 410 vehicles, the Wiltshire Transport Training Association was officially inaugurated this month, although training actually began in April. Courses now running are: artic class I; rigid to artic: car to artic: and advanced hgv. Planned courses are: forklift truck; TIR future development; psv driver; and safety.

The training officer is Mr J. H. Rhodes, Westview House, St John's Street. Devizes. Driver training is carried out on the old RAF parade ground at Melksham.
