Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

1-1. A NEW type of recovery equipment

has been produced by Mann Egerton and Co., Ltd., 5 Prince of Wales Road, Norwich, for mounting On LandRover chassis. A particular advantage is that it may be dismantled so that the vehicle can be used for normal loadcarrying purposes.

The crane is of 2-ton capacity and

the support brackets are welded to the chassis. The tubular compression members and cable ties are connected to the brackets by pins. The winch is built as a separate unit on a frame welded between the chassis members and situated immediately behind the bulkhead.

Chassis supports are provided for use when the crane is working to full capacity to relieve the springs of high loading. The towing bracket is the standard M.E. type A. A bar, through which the hook passes, holds the load steady and at a constant distance from the rear.

A frame is welded between the front chassis members for supporting a towing ambulance. The ambulance housing confers stability to the steering when the vehicle is towing. Price of the equipment is 198.
