COACH and bus bodywork was in greater demand than for several years past, despite the poor season experienced by operators through the wet summer, said Mr. H. W. Sydenham, chairman of Duple Motor Bodies, Ltd., at the annual meeting last week. The fuel tax, on the other hand, remained a heavy discouragement to customers. Mr. Sydenham referred to keen competition in the bus-building world.
