The Authority stated that it was essential for maximum services to be run in rural districts, but he did not want operators to incur any greater deficit than could be avoided.
He-appealed to Highland Omnibuses, Ltd., and W. Alexander and Sons, Ltd., to co-operate closely over services between Inverness and Ardersier. Highland Omnibuses wished to reduce their journeys over this route.
