THE Association of British Chambers
of Commerce are considering writing to the Minister of Transport on the pace and methods of denationalization. Several members of the road transport section of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, who discussed the matter at their last meeting, quoted instances of the rejection of apparently reasonable bids.
It was agreed to suggest to the A.B.C.C. that the Minister should be asked to investigate offers that had been refused. If he were satisfied that these offers had been properly rejected, he should consider alternative methods of disposal.
