Northwest — a family firm
As well as its Hino franchise, MTC Northwest offers Oaf parts and servicing. Stephen Gray junior left in 2001 to run a separate contract but returned in 2005. In 2002 his father was involved in a motorcycle accident which was serious enough to sideline him, and his daughter Karen McGrory took over the reins.
Gray senior returned 12 months ago having made a full recovery; his daughter Jenny Gray is the service reception manager.
The company is based on a 1.8-acre site with seven service bays and a tachograph bay. MTC Northwest employs 35 people, including 18f Vers.
