NORTHERN IRISH transport firm Mulgrew Haulage has switched its tyre supplier in a bid to slash its annual tyre bill, which currently
amounts to more than £100,000.
The County Down firm has changed from Pirelli to Michelin across its fleet of 70 tractor units, fitting a mixture of new and rem ix tyres.
The move followed a number of trials that indicated Mfchelins would reduce costs.
Mulgrew also plans
to regularly regroove its tyres, following advice in Michelin's Stop Thirsty Tyres campaign.
