• West Midlands Travel, one of the UK's largest bus fleets, has just switched from a conventional paint refinishing system to Deltron two-pack with the help and support of PPG.
EPA requirements, productivity plus improved durability and aesthetics were all contributing factors which led to the change. Business manager for WMT's vehicle paint unit says: "The transition has been surprisingly smooth, thanks to the professional advice and support of PPG.
"Productivity has improved dramatically due to faster drying times and the overall refinishing costs have been far less painful than I first envisaged. We believe we can extend the life of the refinish cycle by at least a year. Even our customers have commented on the visual improvement of the vehicles."
