• MAN service stations are to be set up in the USSR with the co-operation of Sovinteravtoservice, Moscow, to meet the needs of the growing number of MAN lorries operating in Russia.
"If you have customers who operate to the USSR regularly then please advise the service department at Swindon — MAN-VW Truck and Bus, Frankland Road, Blagrove, Swindon Wilts SN5 8YU — of the model type and customer name," says MAN.
This will give the service department a general idea which spares and service Literature needs to be available.
The first service stations will be opened on the main BrestMinsk-Moscow route.
