Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Hammond Transport Group has clinched three separate deals worth collectively nearly £2.5 million. The new business will give Hammond, 30 years' old this year, an annual turnover of £7 million.

Two of the contracts are worth around £1m each. One involves a major deal with Eurospace Furniture Packs to deliver pre-packed funiture from the company's warehouse in Knottingly, Yorkshire, direct to its major multiple retail customers throughout the UK. In order to cope with this large contract, Hammonds, operating out of its Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Luton and Redhill branches, will be supplementing its current fleet of 100 vehicles and 70 trailers with 10 32-tonne artics and 30 12m curtainsided trailers.

The second major 'deal, worth £1.3m, is a three-year contract with an existing customer, Fyne Papers of Birmingham. It involves overnight trunking to Fyne Papers' 16 regional distribution centres which are spread around the country from Edinburgh down to Plymouth.

Finally, Paulig, the tea and coffee specialist, has agreed a £250,000 contract with Hammond to collect from its new warehouse in Newport Pagnell and its existing packaging plants in Milton Keynes and Wimbledon, delivering to customers all over the country.

In addition to these direct deliveries there will be two 16tonne GVW curtain-sided vehicles on permanent hire.
