PERKINS ENGINES is now marketing its own brand of alternators for truck diesel engines through its 32 UK distributors.
The 12V, 50Amp alternators fit all Perkins diesels, and Can also he used on other manufacturers' engines.
Overhaul and repair kits for the alternators are produced for Perkins by an outside manufacturer, believed to be Hitachi of japan.
