JAMES FRASER, a retired Laurencekirk haulage contractor, has died in hospital at the age of 80. He began as a lorry driver before setting up in business in 1951. Until 1969 he ran the firm of James Fraser and Son.
GORDON PYATT, founder in 1964 of the North Midlands Branch of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Club, has died after a battle with cancer. He had considerable knowledge of cominerci al vehicles, but was particularly fond of Leylands. He restored and owned several models made during the Thirties and Forties,
