GREATER GLASGO1 Passenger Transpo Executive is to increase its bi fares in an attempt to pay fi its new electric railway servio due to open on November 1.

This follows a rise of sevE per cent due to take effect c September 9 and another far rise earlier this year.
GGPTE hopes that the far' rise will pay for the subsidies will be making to the new se vice, which will be the mo modern urban rail service the country.
