to be included in the first areas to be studied in preparation for London's limited-stop Speedbus routes was made last week. The Greater London Council's Thamesmead committee asked for a Paddington-Thamesmead link to be studied urgently because of current public transport difficulties in the area. The GLC's transport committee has already chosen three routes for initial study. These are from central London to Sydenham, Putney Heath and Waltham Cross and Clapton. Like the other suggested routes, these would involve limited-stop buses using extended bus lanes over much of the route length.
