.E of the exhibits on the Foden stand at Earls Court next month will be a KE4/20 single-drive sixwheeler, and a particular feature of the bogie will be that it will have Goodyear Super Single wide-base low-profile tubeless tyres. This type of equipment has seen a fair amount of service in the :U.S.A., and the 18-21 tyres on the Foden will be of American manufacture. In addition to affording valuable weight saving over the twinned 9.00-20 tyres which this low-profile equipment replaces, the Super Singles give reduced rolling -resistance, increased off-the-road, mobility, and wheel' and tyre simplifica-tion.
