cial Motor" was informed this week, are now being used in ferrying milk from Lame to Stranraer. Two of the vehicles come from Northern Ireland, two are supplied by British Road Services, and the remainder are operated by free hauliers and C-licence holders.

Milk is being brought over at the rate of 29,000-30,000 gallons a day. It is hoped that after September 10 this gallonage will be increased to 45,000.
