Joloda unveils new Van Loda and TrailerLoda

JOLODA HYDRAROLL has launched an improved version of its VanLoda Rollerbed, an easy-install pallet loading system for vans.

The system consists of two sections of roller floor, in modular lengths to fit all standard vans, with the rollers raised by an integrated compressor powered from a standard lighter socket. It can be installed by the driver in under an hour.

Once pallets are forklifted onto the rear, the rollers are retracted, leaving the pallets secure. Originally launched last year, the new version is 40% lighter — around 130kg for the longest vans. The standard design will carry 1,000kg of pallets, while a heavy-duty version will carry pallets up to 1 250kg. It costs around £2,000.

Inspired by the van system, the self-assembly TrailerLoda is a similar concept on a larger scale, designed primarily to fit any standard semi-trailer. It can be installed by two people in six hours. It casts £8,750, weighs 1,435kg and reduces internal height by 68.5mm.
