• Southampton-based remover White & Company has bought
Grampian International Removers and Chariot Freight from the receiver to boost its presence in Scotland (CM 23-29 September), Eleven drivers who were based at the sister firms' site in Livingston have been made redundant. A fire at the site has forced White & Company to base the Livingston business at its other sites in Scotland for the time being.
