NIXON High Pressure Washer Sales, Brougham, Penrith, Cumbria, has introduced a high-pressure washer which enables a new van to be de-waxed in 10 minutes. Running costs, at a calculated 60p per hour, are exceptionally low, while the price — £595 plus VAT — is claimed to be about £400 cheaper than comparable models.

AN ATLAS 3006 lorry-mounted detachable crane has gone into operation with national brick distributor Upholland Haulage, a member of the William Gushell Group. The crane, mounted on a LWB Foden, which is 30 tons gross, can load or unload 20 tons of bricks in 20 minutes. It was supplied through Atlas distributor Brown & Tawse Ltd.
